Éclat Part 105

Welcome to House Of Music for our second in-person Éclat for 2023!

If you're anything like me, you can find yourself stuck in a bit of a percussion rut; programming the same beats over and over again, using the same instruments, feeling a bit uninspired. Luckily, YouTube is here to help! There are SO many great instrumentalists out there playing for our sampling pleasure. Here's a demo of some advanced Guiro techniques.

Today, our challenge is to make a track of ± 2 minutes long which samples this Guiro. You can use any other sounds, samples and effects that you like, and you can warp, transform, and change the original sample however you like. Your track DOESN'T need to be percussive - if you want to stretch or mangle the original sound into an ambient pad, you can do that too! Let your creativity run wild.
