Éclat: Part 117

It's not every day that one of the most famous musicians in the world releases their acapellas on YouTube for everybody to help themselves to! Well, not explicitly, but surely everyone knows that grabbing things from YouTube is hella easy to do... ;)

So this week to celebrate International Women's Day 2024 we're working with the instrumental and vocal of Beyonce's brand new county classic 'Texas Hold 'Em'.

Will Soundcloud block our remixes? That remains to be seen!

To participate in tonight's challenge you can grab both the acapella and the instrumental from WeTransfer here. The challenge today is to use either the vocal or the instrumental, plus ANY other samples, sounds or synths that you like, to make a new track of ± 2 minutes long. You can stretch, warp, and effect the samples as much as you like, so get creative.

Please upload your track to this Google Drive by 14:30 Berlin time, and then rejoin the Zoom call at 15:00 for our celebratory listening session!
