We're incredibly lucky to be welcoming this week's Guest Curator Maya Shenfeld to start us off with a jumping-off point this week!

Maya Shenfeld is a Jerusalem born Berlin-based composer, sound artist, and musician. In her work, Shenfeld explores the intersection of modes of musical production used in classical, experimental, electronic, and popular music. Shenfeld holds an M.A in contemporary music performance and composition from the University of the Arts (UdK), Berlin. She has been presenting and performing her music internationally, among others at the KW Institute for contemporary art, Kiezsalon, Disappearing Berlin, Loop festival LA, Centrala Gallery Birmingham, NS Dokuzentrum, Musica Femina Munich, Konzerthaus Berlin and others. Her film music, published by EMI under the name Rouge Fou has been played on BBC, Channel 4 (UK), and others. Shenfeld’s debut solo album In Free Fall is coming out on the US label Thrill Jockey on the 28th of January 2022.
