Éclat: Part 94

Avatar eclatcrew | October 18, 2022

So, I don't have the budget (or the space) to go buying myself many fancy synthesizers... but luckily there are people online who will happily sample their own for us!

Limbic Bits on Youtube has even provided us with timestamps of the various sounds they're making!

0:00 EBM Bass
1:05 Melodic Techno Lead 1
2:09 Crystal Lead
3:48 Techno Lead
4:21 Graviton Arp
5:43 Getting angry Lead (to percussion)
8:30 Compute FM Arp
9:58 Annoying bp-lead
10:19 Melodic Techno Lead 2
11:02 Electronica Arp (SH Bass Lead)

You can download the entire audio from WeTransfer here.

This week's challenge is to use sounds from this sample as all your melodies, bass, or harmonies, plus any other (non-melodic) samples you like, to make a track of ± 2 minutes. You can use any effects you like, and chop, mangle, and stretch the samples beyond being recognisable!

Upload your finished track to this Google Drive here by 9pm Berlin time for our live listening session!

Listen to what we made here!
