For our 99th Éclat we're feeling pretty special that this sample pack has just been released... one of our faves Octo Octa has created a project called 'Minimal Tears', where all of the tracks, samples, and stems are completely open source and available for everyone to use!
This is what she had to say about the project:
"What is Minimal Tears?
It's an art project by Maya Bouldry-Morrison (Octo Octa) where every piece of audio from it is free. The songs are free, the sample packs are free, and the stems are free. This is all original recorded material that I created in my studio at home.
There is no copyright on this audio. Every part of it can be taken, used, edited, released, etc all without credit!"

Today we're going to be using the Minimal Tears Sample Pack. In this challenge you're only allowed to use samples from this pack, and nothing else! (except your voice if you feel like singing.) There are LOTS of sounds in the pack, so you shouldn't be short of things to use.

Upload your track to this Google Drive by 8:30pm Berlin time. Your tracks will be uploaded to the Soundcloud page for later listening, and if you're taking part in the workshop they'll be shared in the listening session too!
